The goal of this assignment was to do some background research on a typeface artist, and then create a 12-page booklet about the artist and the typeface they designed. I chose to do the typeface Bodoni, and it's creator Giambattisa Bodoni.
My creative process for this project began with a lit of research into my chosen typeface and its creator, and my designs themselves started with a totally different color palette. Besides my original layout I also experimented with a newspaper-y design, but decided that the cover was a little too chaotic, and that I missed the use of colors throughout my design.
