Hi! I'm Kirsten Wendell and I'm a graphic designer based out of Iowa!
I first began creating art in some of my middle school classes, mainly consisting of small and simple ceramic pieces and cartoon-y drawings. During high school I continued exploring ceramic forms as well as trying digital art through my very first graphic design class. Although I enjoyed Graphic Design in high school, I spent my first two years of community college working towards a degree in Music Education. It wasn't until after I graduated from my two-year community college that I decided I wanted to switch my major to Graphic Design, just in time for me to attend the University of Northern Iowa!
While completing my Bachelors degree at the University of Northern Iowa I've continued to enjoy creating physical art through painting, drawing, and ceramics, as well as digital art in numerous Graphic Design classes. I especially enjoy creating booklets, event flyers, and posters! I've had wonderful opportunities to create and display my art through gallery posters and public projects, and I can't wait to continue creating!
